You be Sub, I'll Own the STACK
Everyone else rents their publication from a platform that owns the rails. This site doesn't. Here are the receipts — and the complete runbook pack, gated, for whoever wants to build their own.
There are two ways to publish on the internet, and they look identical from the reader’s chair.
The first is to rent. You sign up, you write into a form, someone else’s system renders it, someone else’s system takes the money, someone else’s system owns the list, and someone else’s system decides what the page may look like. In exchange you get distribution and you pay a cut.
The second is to own. You buy a domain, you write Markdown in a git repo, a small process serves bytes, Stripe takes the money, and the only party between you and the reader is a payment processor doing exactly one job.
